Salient Group LLP is actively recruiting on behalf of Sol Belize Limited to fill the vacant position of Sales Assistant. The successful candidate should be a responsible team player who is able to work well in a high-demand, fast-paced environment that requires dedication and going the extra mile. The successful candidate must embody Sol Belize Limited’s BOLD Behaviors and Values.

To be a successful candidate you must also have completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration, business analytics, marketing, or a related field with a minimum of 2-3 years progressively responsible experience in the marketing field. Ideally, the candidate must demonstrate some familiarity preparing and delivering presentations, drafting reports, and compiling analytical data. In addition to other eligibility criteria, the candidate must possess a good working knowledge (speaking/reading/writing) of English along with intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The ideal candidate must also be able to work independently in a timely and efficient manner, demonstrate good interpersonal and customer service skills, be dependable, and always display a professional demeanor.

The major responsibilities of the Sales Assistant include conducting an annual review of customer accounts, reconciling and generating credit notes for customer rebates, maintaining a price change Excel workbook to include updates to price changes, preparing drafts of all new and renewed service station contracts and customer agreements, developing and executing the departmental annual training plan, preparing Sales Department reports, and analyzing sales data.
