Salient Group LLP is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Administrative Clerk within a prestigious Law Firm in Belize City. The successful candidate will be required to provide administrative support to Management in a fast-paced environment. The major responsibilities of the Administrative Clerk include processing of weekly payroll and social security payments for domestic staff; managing files; monitoring and updating the calendars for the two (2) Managing Partners; scheduling meetings; communicating as required via email, phone, or in-person; preparing and keeping updated forms and reports; posting social media updates; keeping inventory; and managing petty cash.

To be a successful candidate you should be a self-starter who demonstrates great initiative, doesn’t shy away from a challenge, is not afraid to ask questions or seek out/research information when needed, must have excellent organizational, time management and communication skills, must be proactive, and possess a professional demeanor. In addition to other eligibility criteria, you must possess at least a High School Diploma with at least 2 years progressively responsible working experience in a secretarial role. You must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (this will be tested).
